Our Instantvap DGV deaerators are designed according to the treated water generation needs required for use in the client’s steam boiler. They can be manufactured in different sizes and in carbon steel and/or stainless steel.
A deaerator must meet the following requirements:
1. Heat the feedwater to the highest possible temperature, close to the saturation temperature corresponding to the steam pressure used.
2. Intensely agitate the heated water with live steam to completely remove oxygen and carbon dioxide.
3. Maintain the partial pressure of oxygen and carbon dioxide as low as possible inside the deaerator, especially in the area where the deaerated water separates from the steam. For this purpose, it is essential to properly control steam and deaerated water flow rates.
4. Continuously extract oxygen and carbon dioxide from the interior of the deaerator.
5. Produce water with the required low gas content, regardless of load fluctuations and variations in dissolved oxygen.
