Instanvap LGD flue gas scrubbers are environmental protection systems designed to treat combustion emissions produced by hydrocarbon fuels in equipment such as steam generators, furnaces, thermal oil boilers or solid waste boilers.
The LGD scrubber works by passing water counter-current to the flue gases, creating a cascade effect that drags and absorbs combustion by-products. These are then transferred to a collector and through interconnection piping to the settling tank.
The gas washing system consists of:
• A settling tank made of AISI-316-L stainless steel with internal baffles that allow solid particles to settle.
• A water recirculation pump from the settling tank to the scrubber and back to the tank, forming a closed water circuit.
• A pH meter and caustic soda dosing pump.
• Interconnection piping between the different system components.
